WooCommerce – a WordPress plug-in that adds functionality to an online store. Once it is installed in the CMS administration panel, you can enter products and define their most important parameters, such as descriptions, photos, stock, prices. Customers can easily make purchases. It is an open-source platform. The advantages of WooCommerce include ease of use, availability of multiple graphic templates, wide customization options, SEO friendliness. A disadvantage is its rather complicated installation – WooCommerce requires installing a store on a server and supplementing it with several extensions and modules – the plugin itself is just a framework offering basic functions. Another downside is the lack of technical support and the need for manual updates.
