Bounce Rate – one of the parameters showing how engaging the site’s content is and how the site has been designed in terms of UX (User Experience). According to Google Analytics, it is the share of visits during which the user saw one page and then left the website. However, it is important to know that if, during the visit, the user performed any action on the site that does not result in a new page view, but is registered as an action (e.g., the user downloaded a file), such a visit is not counted as a rejection. The factors contributing to a high bounce rate include a long page load time, content mismatch with the title, poor page in terms of UX, excess windows and pop-ups, bad navigation, links to external pages, page type.
