TL;DR

TL; DR (stands for: “too long, didn’t read”) –  a term used when a text is too long or boring to be worth reading, or when you want to highlight a summary of a longer text in a few words. The abbreviation is often used by users of social networks, not infrequently also ironically. They are also used by authors themselves to warn that the text requires more time and attention, but also to save the reader time, perversely – to encourage reading. TL; DR can also be a form of introduction to the text or a reason to move to the article’s summary. TL; DR is a normal behavior of online readers, so it’s a good idea to tailor publications to suit their specific needs. To avoid too long, didn’t read situations, it’s a good idea to adjust the length of the text to the readers and the specifics of where the content is published. When creating a more extensive post, it’s worth remembering to use paragraphs, lists and graphics to add variety to the wall of text, avoid long, elaborate sentences, and don’t go overboard with professional terminology if the specifics of the text don’t require it.
