Keyword

Keyword (also: key phrase) – an element that has an important role in SEO, since through it you can easily reach the customer. After typing it in, the search engine suggests the most relevant pages whose content is consistent with the search phrase. There are several types of keywords: 1. branded – that is, those related to a brand or company, which the user types in when he does not quite know or remember the name of the site he is looking for. If the company name is unique, there is a high probability that the site will be high in the organic results; 2. general keywords – that is, phrases related to specific services or products. These phrases relate to broad search terms and are usually a description of a particular product or service (e.g., women’s shoes). Another type of keywords are phrases with a long tail, the so-called long tail (3). These are keyword phrases composed of more words that describe products or services in more detail. Positioning such keywords allows you to reach customers who will be interested in a particular product or service (e.g., red stiletto women’s shoes). The last type of keyword phrases are industry keywords (4). They describe a particular industry or field. After typing such a phrase into a search engine, the user will receive suggestions of websites, forums or thematic blogs focused solely within that topic.
