ECommerce

eCommerce – an electronic commerce. It involves business-related transactions, the execution of which is carried out by modern technological and telecommunications solutions. The most popular form of eCommerce are online stores. Activities included in e-commerce include not only the exchange of goods and services, but also marketing and promotional campaigns. Thus, these are all activities related to the direct conclusion of commercial transactions and the activities leading up to them, based on ICT. The most popular eCommerce sales models include: 1. business to consumer (B2C), where companies sell goods and services directly to individual customers, 2. business to business (B2B), where companies provide goods or services to other companies. Both small and large enterprises, including wholesalers, raw material producers and business-oriented service providers, fit into this model. Other popular eCommerce models are: 3. C2C (consumer to consumer) – in this model, the transaction takes place between two individuals rather than businesses through sales platforms and social networks, 4. C2B (consumer to business) – this is a relatively new business model in which individuals provide services to companies (e.g., freelancers), 5. B2G (business to government) – in this model, companies focus on providing products and services on behalf of the government; the sale covers both cybersecurity and waste management, spatial planning, etc., 6. G2B (government to business) – in this case, transactions take place between the state administration and enterprises – the state provides paid services to enterprises, e.g. when companies acquire information such as legal documents, plans.
