Google Ads – Google’s advertising system of displaying sponsored links in search engine results, which are also displayed as part of the Google Adsense affiliate program. Ad texts are displayed on the first positions of search results or in a column on the right. It is a recommended tool because of the form of payment – the advertiser does not pay for the publication of the ad, but per click on it. An additional advantage is that ads are not displayed to random recipients, but only to those who are in our target group. Ads can also be targeted to users from specific regions, which is especially useful for local businesses. Unlike SEO, which is a time-consuming process, Google Ads provides quick results. Advertising can be displayed by selecting keywords or websites – the rate per keyword depends on its popularity among advertisers. During the bidding process, the advertiser determines the maximum amount that they can pay per click – this billing model is known as CPC. Another form of billing is CPM (Cost Per Mille – cost per thousand impressions) – this solution applies to the advertising network of Google partners.
