B2B

B2B (stands for: business-to-business) – all areas in which companies transact with each other. It is a company-wide relationship in which there may be many participants. B2B includes preparing offers and orders, confirming orders, payments, processing transactions, seeking new offers, issuing documents related to the execution of transactions and marketing. Regarding eCommerce, B2B customers are most often wholesalers, showrooms and entities that want to conclude a purchase transaction directly with the manufacturer or distributor of a product. Speaking of B2B cooperation, there are two types of marketplaces: 1. horizontal – this type covers various industries. Sales usually involve products and services that are not directly related to production; 2. vertical, where trade takes place within a single industry, directly including goods related to production. The B2B model is based on creating relationships with contractors. Sales are usually made through a B2B platform or merchants. In eCommerce, it is a collaboration, transaction or exchange of products / services between two business entities.
