SEM (Search Engine Marketing)

SEM (stands for: Search Engine Marketing) – defined as search engine marketing is a marketing mechanism based on the position of a website or page in search engine results. SEM consists of all marketing activities aimed at increasing visibility. Elements of SEM include SEO (a strategy of positioning websites in search engine results that is a long-term process to increase website traffic) and PPC (a model of advertising that increases direct traffic to a site, where the advertiser only pays when a user clicks on an ad that redirects to a landing page). SEM activities are characterized by low implementation costs and are based on the popularity of specific keywords.
