KPI (key performance indicator)

KPIs (stands for: key performance indicators) – main performance indicators that measure the achievement of set goals. They are used in various fields, including to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities. The key with KPIs is to define a strategic goal, which may consist of several operational goals. Each of these should have a specific value, which will be determined by the KPI. Each KPI should be assigned a numerical value to determine the status of the goal. The corresponding KPI should also be set in a specific time frame. KPIs reduce a large amount of information to a small number of key figures that present meaningful results that determine the achievement of the goal. A well-matched KPI allows targeting specific activities that are important in terms of achieving the intended strategy, prioritizing specific activities accordingly and making decisions efficiently based on relevant information.
