Crawl budget

Crawl budget – the specified frequency with which search engine crawlers and bots can index a site and the total number of addresses they can crawl at one time. The term was introduced to indicate the related concepts and systems used by search engines when deciding how many and which sites to index. Crawl Budget is based on two things: Crawl Rate Limit, which indicates how much indexing a site can handle and what the site owner’s preferences are, and Crawl Demand, which indicates which URLs are worth crawling. Suggestions are being made based on the popularity and frequency of site updates.
