B2C

B2C (stands for: business-to-customer) – business model where products/services move directly from a business to the end user. Transactions are created between a company selling products/services and an individual customer (transactions are initiated by the company). B2C activities include preparing offers and orders, confirming them, completing transactions, issuing documents related to the implementation of the transaction and marketing. The cooperation model is based on the company’s contacts with customers, whose number is very large, but nevertheless the value of purchases is small per buyer. Sales in the B2C model are usually unattended, via an online store. In eCommerce, B2B refers to a collaboration, transaction or exchange between a company and a private buyer.
